Bristol was a complete let down for me this year. Two of my favorite tracks are Bristol and Martinsville. If the race this weekend is pussified to the point it's one lane racing, I'm done with it.

I dropped my tickets there years ago. I never like the fact that they held you hostage to buy both the spring and fall tickets as a season package with the Busch or now called Nationwide race. Plus the fact the whole amount was due by September the year before the races. Seemed like as soon as I made it home from the race they were looking for there money for next year. Changing the banking there will not bring any more fans back, just will satisfy those already going. Most Nascar tracks do not even come close to selling out like they did 5-6 years ago.

I'm glad at least one of the track owner's cares about the racing.

Actually the problem is that there is now more than one lane and the cars and tires are so good that the good cars can go anywhere on the track. They don't have to nudge anyone to pass them. For the other poster complaining about ticket prices, they have dropped prices for 2 yrs in a row now. And most sporting venues bill you immediately for tix renewals. We still have at least a month of games left in hockey but I have already received my renewal bill for next years tix. Just the way it is.
