    Mold On Boat Seat

On my back deck flip up seat some mold has appeared. Is bleach the answer or a bad idea?

    Thanks
    David

If you use bleach or anything strong, make sure you treat the seat after you're done. Cleaners sometimes dry out the vinyl and cause it to crack. BBS, 303 or the product of your choice.

Magic eraser will take it right off then put some protectant on there so it doesn't happen again.

Anything but Armorall. I dunno, they may have changed their formula but it used to crack a dash in 1 month of sun exposure. I prefer Mothers Back to Black or Bass Boat Saver because they moisten and have UV blockers. Beware the "slippery" products because the first hard corner and you will find yourself in the passengers seat upside down.
