keeping brush from growing under evergreens?

My side yard is lined with mature evergreens that has a lot of underbrush growing under them and some is tall enough to be up between the limbs of the trees. I use brush be gone on the farm but is it ok to use around mature trees? Any other products out there that I should consider using? thanks in advsance.

I think it is okay as long as you do not get it on the tree or saturate the area to leach into the soil to the evergreen trees.

it isn't a soil sterilant, so no worries there, as long as you don't get any of the "brush killer" on the leaves you should be fine. It's a folialar control. Keep it on the woody surfaces of the trees and no more if you're spraying your around your evergreens
