I've caught smaller...MUCH smaller. The pond I fish appears to have a fresh batch of dink bass in it. I flushed a few hundred of them off the bank last time I was out there. One time me and my buddy got into the dinks schooling and we were ripping them up on big Spooks. He won by catching one shorter than the Spook.

I caught a yellow perch once on a Bandit 100 that wasn't as long as the crankbait... Don't know what it was going to do to it after it grabbed it
have caught ones about the same size as a crappie minnow crappie fishing.

A guy I was fishin with a few years ago got this one. On a crank bait. Don't know if it bit or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The hook did go in it's mouth.
Sad thing is it killed the fish.
