I dont normally this, but I really am worried. My son is based at Ft Drum, and currently is at Ft Polk for training. He text me tonight and they flew him by army chopper to the local ER. He has a absessed tooth and when he sent a pic I did not recognize him. His face is black/blue and eyes nearly swelled shut. I recently worked a coded patient and we failed to bring him back over a absessed tooth. My patient was a young healthy man that waited one day to late and the results were horrible. My Son is in severe pain and the swelling is beyond anything I could have imagined. They lanced the area and have him stable, pumping in anti-biotics and pain meds. Thats all I know and this proud papa is about to go insane. For the first time in his life i cannot be there to help him. Dear Lord please be with my Son
