I just bought a 8" Z-Lock JP and had it installed. I called T-H and ordered a hole shot plate for it. The other jackplates I have had over the years had predrilled holes with threads in em to bolt on the HS plate. This one does not. Is there a simple solution other than finding someone with a tap n dye kit to mount this HS plate?

dumb question....self tapping into aluminum? Just drill a pilot hole and go?
