Max RPM's for 150HO non Etec

I know this topic has probably been around several times, but I have heard from 5250 to 5750. There are a lot of differance it those numbers. I have a 2006 150HO non Etec and don't want to do any damage to my new motor. At this time I have approxamately 15 hours on the motor.

The 150HO has range of 5000-5500 rpm. It's the175 that runs up to 5750.

Thanks Seahorse. I was getting 5200 to 5300. Just added a jackplate, am hoping to add a couple hundred RPM's. I am running a 21 Tempest plus, do you think I will be turning close to 5500 with this prop?
