I loved and listened to Paul Harvey for years. The version in the link has been embellished and hardly resembles the 1964 original ..

I loved to listen to him. Something about his voice.

That goes to show you every generation has the same fears ...........

Obvious somebody choreographed the thing. The audio was pure and typical Paul Harvey...what was significant to many is what he said back in 1965 and how close it resembles to what we are experiencing today...

I wasn't trying to push any political or religious agenda...the guy pretty much looked at our society and gave his take on the direction our society COULD take.

I listened to Paul Harvey for years, started as a teenager. One day in '81 or '82 he was talking about a Bunn coffee maker (one of his sponsors) and how great he thought they were. That afternoon I went out and bought one. And here is the rest of the story. Been using a Bunn ever sense. Good Day

Really? I think after looking at the snopes article and reading both the original AND the version made for print thirty plus years later...they're close enough to each other that I wouldn't call the latter "embellished" really...

The gist of his message is still there IMO...

It was psted here as from 1965 and it wasn't..
