Shout out for Davey Hite

I went to the BP in Harrisburg, PA. The main reason was to attend Davey Hite's seminar on line. It didn't hurt that the spring sale was going on,

Davey Hite is a great guy. He was early for the seminar. I just so happen to be by the Berkley booth when he came in. There were just a few of us hanging around the booth. So Davey stayed around there and we all just stood around BSing about the weather, his flight, fishing and the classic.
Davey is a legend of Bass fishing. To get to talk with him like this was priceless to me. Super nice guy and really down to earth.
I've always been a fan of Davey's but now I appreciate him more. He is the type of superstar that all sports need

So I would like to give a shout out to Davey

During the seminar he also answered any question that anyone had about fishing or boating. He answered with class and he took every question very seriously no matter how simple it may have been.

I've always liked Davy. One time a reporter asked him about living in Ninety Six, S.C. He was describing how he liked living there and the reporter asked him how the town got the name Ninety Six. Without missing a beat Davy said "we do every thing backwards in S.C.".

Good guy! Lives in same town I do and has given me some good advice over the years. I was down on my self about fishing one time. He talked to me about it and I love the sport more now than I ever have.

I haven't meet Davey Hite, but I fished with his family member and he told me that Davey woke up one morning, told his wife he wanted to go fishing wife said go ahead you got some days to take off at work, he said no I mean go on tour. After a little talk they agreed she gave him 1 year to see if he could make it. Well ...... the rest is history

First class man and fisherman. He shared the inside story on how he scrimped and saved every penny for three straight years just to give himself ONE shot back then. He obviously succeeded
