secondary fuel filter on etec

it is necessary to have an additional fuel filter on a 90 etec? like a racor 10 micron?

I have one now on my old v4.

Its nice to have a fuel water sep. filter installed. This will keep any moisture out of the engines fuel system.

I dont think it would hurt to have one installed in the bilge area between the gas tanks and the line to the engine.

going to add a 10 micron racor to the system. will also add a Lowrance EP-10 fuel flow sensor connected to the GPS/FF.
