    Engine question

    My question is about the timer or throttle base beneath the flywheel. It seems to be sticking a little. What can be done to free up this part so it does not stick? Motor is a 1998 115 V-4 Johnson.

    Disconnect the linkage and be sure its not the throttle linkage sticking.

    Okay I will check. The throttle cables are new but the control box is not.
