Qustion about Possible Oil Problem

Had the boat taken to the boat to the ramp today to let it run for a few minutes as it had not been used in about 7 weeks and will not be able to be used for another 3-4 weeks. My father did this for me. He told me that after about 5 minutes the warning horn went off and he did not look to see what light it as he just wanted to get the motor shut down. He said it started right back up and ran it for another 5-10 minutes without any issues. the temp this morning was about 35. I am running XD-50 oil. Could it have be the no oil warning as I am running XD-50 and it was 35 this morning?

Chances are that was the problem.

Yep, That is prolly the problem......Switch over to 100 and that problem will go away ...........Roger
