its very state specific as mastercaster pointed out but almost all county courthouses (where you file the paperwork at) have an outline of the procedure...........if you don't follow it to the "t" the judge will always give extra days.............I have done a couple hundred evictions in the last 10 years and only twice actually hired an attorney to help so you should be good on your own unless you have an extra special tenant I had one take me for 3 full months before I got the writ...........usually takes 20-25 days if you got it down

again be very careful about how you handle the actual "chucking the stuff" part cause a misstep there and it starts a whole other PITA
