Fixed my power trim on my 185

New power trim $965.00 + labor.
Used power trim on e-bay $200.00 + $25.00 shipping and $21.00 for a set of Heli-coils to replace 1 set of striped threads.
Did it myself and saved in excess of $700.00.

Great job!! Did you have to stay at a Holiday Inn Express?? Similar experience with one of my employees 99 Explorer last week - engine starts making noise - Ford dealer close to where the noise started - $ 3500 + labor for a new motor. Tow the Explorer to another shop - new oil pump, towing and labor less than $ 500. I guess its consumer beware......

    Peace,
    Don<><
