    Chandler update 3/12/12

    Things are kind of at a stand still. Maybe even a little step backwards. They were able to come down on his oxygen to .5 last night but had to bump it back up to 1 Liter today. He is also having serious issues with reflux. He can't even take milk or medicine orally without getting severe pain and a choking sensation. My wife and I are getting frustrated with this since it has just gotten worse since Friday so we've demanded to finally get to see a GI specialist tomorrow and supposedly we will. Apparently these are the only two things still keeping us here and it's hard when you see things not progressing. Chandler's MRI got canceled today so he will be doing it tomorrow at 2. This is just precautionary due to him being on the ECMO while recovering in the PICU. Should see the GI docs tomorrow after the MRI. I'll have a lot more to report tomorrow evening. Please continue to send some up that his recovery doesn't take anymore setback. Also keep my wife Amanda in your thoughts. She is breaking a little and is extremely frustrated.
