    Evinrude I Command Classic Gauges

Questions????.....I have a 03 Ranger with a 03 "Rude" 200. I can get mod and ser numbers if you folks need me to. My boat has the factory gauges and the tach has the systemcheck on it. My question is this. I am wanting to upgrade my guages and I like the I Command Classic Gauges, but will they work with my current engine. My Ranger has the digital keypad on it if that is needed also. I am interested in the Tach, Speed, Trim, WP. Volts and Fuel. All help from you guys will be appreciated. Thanks, Roger

I-Command gauges only work with NMEA-2000 networks. Does your 2003 "Rude" motor have NMEA-2000 capability?

    03 is not NMEA 2000.
Commander is an option. The 3" dia tach, speedo will go into the dash but they will require some wiring. The tach comes with a wire harness that plugs into the original system check harness, and then the gauges. The separate wire ends connect to the fuel flow transducer and these use heat shrink butt connectors.
you need to add the fuel flow transducer in the fuel supply line by the transom then route that harness forward to the dash.
The speedo can be the 70mph analog with pitot tube and is plug and play The commander speedo will need the triducer for paddle wheel speed, depth and water temp. Paddlewheel speed is accurate to 60mph and then gets flaky.
The other gauges volts, trim, fuel, etc are simple. remove the old gauges, and transfer the wires to the new and install.
