I have no clue how this happend but it did. Just was going to get some of y'alls opinions on what would cause this to happen. I will say that PowerPole has been very good to work with. Needless to say this shouldn't happen. Thoughts???

Yes sir that is one of the hydraulic lines that comes out of the pump.

Thats a new one to me! The power lines have a very thick wall and I cant imagine what would cause that. .

wow...i'm sure they'll make it up...but i'd be more concerned with what caused the failure at this point
good luck with it

I understand things happen and PowerPole has been very good about making it right. I just don't want it to happen again. There is not much to hooking these things up and I am just wondering what caused it so that I might be able to prevent it from happening again.
i'm sure they'll be glad to look at these pic's...and if there is a problem i'm sure they will address it...it is right by the fitting so it could be anything, be interested to know if there are "numerable failures" and what their thoughts are![]()
looks to be split all the way into the connection...will watch for updates

Looks like a spike in system pressure. Only takes a sec for a hydraulic system to spike high enough for something like that to happen. Could be a relief didn't open quickly enough or the pump didn't shut down when supposed to. You would be amazed at how fast the multiplication of force can cause that poly line to blow up like a ballon till pop.
Faulty hose, thin spot. I doubt that pump has enough power to blow out a hose that is in good shape.

I would agree. A pressure spike due to a faulty relief. That hose stretched, a weak spot would have blown out at the weak spot not stretched like that.
