    90 200 evinrude

    Idles fine, but will not get on plane. Has new stator, power pack,and carbs redone. Number one cylinder is turning plug black with carbon. 90 lbs of compression. Trying to find some answers for a friend of mine. Has had it to a couple of places and they can't figure it out.

    I would be looking at that carb pretty hard.... If it is blacking the plug something is wrong there...

    He said they switched carbs and still the same.
