    Lamiglass rods

Picked up a 6'6 lamiglass competitor series 4 power. What would or could it be used for. Not sure on the power rating on these rods. Thanks

    Looks to be 3/8 - 1oz, 8-20#, fast action.

I am a big fan of Lami rods, but not exactly sure what I would use this one for. Maybe a football jig rod?

They have a rod forum on their website where you could get some opinions on what others use it for.

Either way, good rod company and made in the USA

I looked that up on the Lamiglas site and figure it's a "CC 664". I would try it for T-rigged plastics, along with the topwater and spinnerbait suggestions. It might also do as a pitching rod...I much prefer a 6'6" rod, tho also prefer a real "pool que" type of stiffness. If the tip is too soft, you'll have a lot of trouble with backlashing, from my experience. My Dropshot rod is a CS 701...same series.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I killed a 12-pack just to watch it die.
