I finally dumped them. I don't have a lot of options where I live but I do have a marginal cell phone signal. Verizon let me use there wireless modem free of charge for a week. Verizon worked even better. Was paying $60/month with Screwsnet but VZ was $50 and my wife gets an addition 19% off on top of that.

Hughesnet was like dial up and constantly went down. Everytime I talked with Hadji he said i needed a service tech to come to the house for a low $100 fee. Now I got me a purdy Screwsnet dish for target practice

On our home computer we have hughesnet and it is terrible.On my laptop which is way faster is verison called a hotspot.

id honestly rather just use dial up. we had hughes 8 years ago and it was slower than chit and went out whenever the weather wasnt perfect.
