Jim, Your are going to love that 6.2L. I have it in my current truck and it is great for everyday driving and towing. You will get better fuel mileage as well due to the 6 speed tranny. I would have liked the max trailer package due to pulling my 10k lb camper but my Z71 handles it fine. My crew foreman on one of my jobs a couple of weeks ago had an emergency and had to leave the job. This meant I didn't have a 3500 diesel to move the 4k lb dump trailer which was loaded with 16k lb of shingles. I hooked the Z71 up to it and pulled it around the block to park it with no trouble or strain. I would never pull that much weight out on the main roads with a 1500 but I was very impressed that it moved it so effortlessly.

Very nice Jim! My Dad has the 6.0 in his truck and it's quite responsive, I'm sure you'll love the 6.2. Sharp truck for sure
