I have a 1998 518 DVS with a 2002 200hp Rude ficht on it. Boat runs very good.
Motor is 3.25 below pad with a 6"plate, 25 Renegade prop. Had it at 72mph on the gps last year on Tablerock,conditions were great 6' chop, light load. I bought my motor new in 2004 with the 7 yr warranty, now have 55 hrs on it.No problems at all.Make sure you have it checked out .
