Anyone use this model with braid? Did you have good luck, any snaps? Would I be better off with the regular guides as opposed to the micros? I would be setting the hook hard with this rod.

I have used it with braid and didn't have any problems.
I dont own that rod but picked up one last night at BPS. Sucker sure did feel good. Good luck.
Broke 2 ..... But I think there were some bad ones out at that time. The AG's are just as light 10.00 more. Bigger and more stiff.

broke one last tues. A BBCer I took out actually broke it setting the hook on a good fish. It exploded into 3 pieces..took it back got a Duckett.7'10..this thing is sweet..
In flipping, go with the signature series II, I can't seem to brake it if I tryed!
