Unhappy M to ML Spinning Rod under $200

I kicked my favorite finesse worm rig overboard today in 50 feet of water and need to pull the trigger on a spinning rod with split grips 6'10" or longer. Budget is $200. Your thoughts are welcome. Thanks

Have you looked into the Abu Garcia Veritas rods? They have 5 different spinning rod models to choose from. They are very light and extremely sensitive.
Pick one up, I think you'll like it. http://www.abugarcia.com/products/rods/veritas

Mike , take a look at the ALX rods, board sponsor and great rods for around $180. They are built on the Hydra blanks and are really sensitive.

Depending on the action your looking for since you said m or ml you may want to look at a Falcon Cara Jeff Kreit squirrel rod. It's a 7' m it's $199 but can be found around $185. It's a little lighter than a standard medium action but excels with drop shots and 1/8 and 3/16 jig heads. If you like a stiffer rod it prob wouldn't be the rod for you.

For $200 you can get into a Loomis GL2. The DSR 821 is a mag light meaning its heavier than a light action. More powerful than a light. The DSR 822 is a Mag-Medium. In most cases I would sugges the 822 because I prefer slightly stiffer rods for most applications. Either on will work. They are both 6'10. They always ship free from ALFC. Mention you saw us on BBC and I'll hook you up with a hat.

Phenix Recon 723 or Lamiglas Excel 703s. Both are fantastic DS rods.
