15-20" of snow forecast over next 36 hrs.

We have a forecast of 15-20" of snow over the next 36 hrs. Oh well, got my snow blower ready and will be working a 1,000 piece puzzle with my 6 year old daughter. Still better than all of the horrible tornado weather throughout the country. for all those hit by extreme weather.

I'll gladly take the snow over the weather we're supposed to get today.

I would too. John...you stay safe down there. Just saw on Indy weather, that your area and on up into Kentucky has been placed in a high risk area for tornadic activity today. It was moderate. Here...it's iffy right now.

Thanks Bill. I've lived through 2 of these monsters and really don't want to deal with another one. Prayers for the areas that are in the storms paths. Everyone be safe.

I just spoke to my Mom who lives in Smith's Grove Ky, which is 12 miles north of Bowling Green, and she said there were storm chasers coming in town from as far away as Texas, due to them being in the bulls eye of the tornado activity. for them and everyone in the area.

The news the other day said that we have a 1 in 4 chance of Mt. Shasta erupting in our lifetime. I'll go with that over a Tornado anyday! At least the mountain will rumble a little before it goes boom!

I feel cheated, we usually get between 160" to 190" every season. As of last week we had a grand total of 41". I'm thinking it's going to hit all at once, probably on April 1st!

We actually can use the snow, Oneida Lake looks to be 2 feet low and there is no snow cap to speak of. Unless we get a little rain it may be low this summer.

Hopefully, it's just a little rain and not like last spring when we had (I think) the wettest April on record and everything flooded. That was nuts.
