This came up in another thread the other day. I was thinking about it a little. Why does an American citizen get crapped on by a judge citing other cultures/laws, but terrorists and illegals get the benefit of our own laws?
Not all judges are elected. Federal court judges are appointed.

Thats just human nature from the highest to the lowest priorities in life. Some people rant and rave about rules and the enforcement of them, but when the tables are turned on them its viewed as not applying to them and they are offended.
If you actually read the judges decision, there wasn't enough evidence to convict the Muslim on the assault charge. If you watch the video provided as evidence you would agree. The judges comments were part of some stupid admonishment that he shouldn't have made at all.
For perfect justice, the Muslim would have taken a bomb in the courtroom, and blown himself, the idiot atheist protester, his fellow idiot atheist protester, and the judge to bits.

From what I read the duty of Magisterial District Judge in Pa. is almost the same as a municipal court judge here in Texas. Their courts are at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to court levels.

I may not be upset about that if they applied the logic evenly. Think about the west Burrough Baptist Church, they can do whatever they want, can we attack them for doing something we feel is not right?
Yeah something is not right with that decision. Not too mention the constitutional issues with that ruling.

So your saying there's not much more to stand on this subject![]()
Judges at this level in Pa. aren't required to be attorneys. Here in Texas judges at the municipal or justice court level aren't required to be attorneys either. The municipal court level courts here in Texas hear the majority of cases heard by a judge. In this particular case the magistrate should have recused himself from the case, his actions were more of that as a defense attorney rather than that of a judge.
