Well at least Juan made this history books for nascar. 1st drive to crash into the jet dryer. The first thing I thought of when he hit was ,days of thunder when they told Cole to hit the pace car cause he'd hit every other beep beep thing on the race track.![]()
amen to this, im an avid motorcycle road race fan & it always cracks me up when i hear nascar guys crying that they can't race in the rain or if they have to run a road course, nascar is the biggest joke there it.
If its got boobs, tires, siding, or an outboard motor you have trouble!!!

I would love to see you get in a 3400lb car and drive it into a corner at 200 mph with a car 1' from each side of you on wet pavement, Hell dry as far as that goes! The motorcycles are not turning near the g force those cars are. G force + weight+ wet pavement=mass destruction in no way can you get enough traction to hold the car to the track. Then you have the fogging issue they would have to face there is a lot more to it than throwing rain tires and windshield wipers on it then jumping on the track.
Btw rain tires would not hold up anytime at all on an oval track due to the amount of camber they have to run...they would be ok on a road course just not oval.![]()
