Those of us who have the capability, at a moment's notice, to go "yard"... find those of you who don't to be a bit boorish...

You're right, Keith... Smacks of desperation to me.

"Swinging for the fence" isn't as bad as "Swings like a gate with a broken latch", which you may find applies to somebody or other.

"ya know what I'm sayin", that's just after he tells you what he's saying OR some youngster that keeps using the work LIKE every two seconds.

Re: "swinging for the fences" (keithbass2609)

Did you guys catch Swindles statement before he left the stage yesterday at the weigh-in? Absolutely hysterical!

He started to ramble on about what he needed to do today to get back into it...

Went something like this..."the crawfish is going to start to spawn due to last weeks full moon. With this north wind they are going to be stacked up. Them bass is going to go on a feeding frenzy. I got some spots located underneath them thar' willows that they are setting up on. The bucks is moving in fast to set the nest and the ladies is coming in right behind them. It's setting up to be the perfect storm"...

Now that is no where near what he said but it he had me laughing out loud that my wife came to check on me!
