NMEA 2000 starter kit power supply?

Where should I hook up my NMEA starter kit power leads? Can I hook it up right behind the master power switch or something or should I install another fuse block, splicing into the power coming from the master switch, etc? I haven't looked under the dash yet to see what I can do (I do know the fuse box is full). What makes the most sense?

NMEA doesn't need a lot of power especially for what you will run on it. I run mine off the master power switch. I have some extra ACC connectors I used. You could go all the way to the battery but you will need a switch and fuse for it. With as little as it draws it could go on the master power.

i'd try the fuse box...if not have you thought about adding the "add a circuit" on the fuse box? Or like you mentioned add an additonal fuse box...."add a circuit" can be bought at a local auto parts store....it's a pig taile where two fuses are used in a slots and then you plug it into the fuse box slot where the fuse was removed...i used this in my truck when direct wiring my radar detector....
