    Cajun Floor Replacement

I just picked up a Cajun boat that had been abandoned on a property. I have no title, but can eventually get one, after going through a long process with the police and DNR.

But in the meantime, does anyone know what model of Cajun this is? It's about 15-16' long and has a white glassed-in bowrider area with three compartments. (no lids or cushions)

The inside has been gutted, and it's ready for a new floor. FOR ONCE, the prev. owner didn't trash the boat when doing the demo, but they did a neat job, leaving me a couple of inches around the perimeter to work with.

If anyone knows what the inside of this boat is supposed to look like (besides gutted) pictures would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm.... No one has seen this model?

I did some looking, and it's a 1989, if that helps. Just trying to find info so I know where to go with the repairs.

Another question.... How much resin does it take to replace a 38 SF floor, top and bottom? Any suggestions on layup?

I've done regular resin and matt, but never epoxy, although it seems to be highly recommended. T

    Thanks.

Here are some pictures of the floor replacement.

First two pictures are of the removed floor. Stringers were nice and solid, so no work needed there:

Here are pictures of the plywood cutting and placement, and preparing the fiberglass:

Here is a picture of the fiberglass mat that would cover the plywood:

After everything was cut, I mixed resin and it went in very quickly. Sorry, but no time to take pictures when working with resin! Here is the final result. The boat really looked new inside:

Looks good. I have what's left an old Nitro that looks "to me" just like that.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
