powell diesel rods

Has anyone got their hands on these yet? For 70 bucks if its like the other powell rods they would be great. They said the price reflects the savings of no warranty but still had all the features of their better rods. I bought a couple falcon bucoo rods on sale for 80 a piece, before anyone knew much about them, and was not too impressed, just felt like a cheaper rod than my lowriders.

I have 3 Diesels. 2 705CBs and a 6'10 spinning rod. I like them alot even though I only got a chance to use the 705 for about a half hour the other day casting from shore. Its a little heavier in weight then the Powell Max but still very nice, especially at that price.
