A very good friend of mine is a pro staffer for TFO down here, and he is very impressed with them. He wouldn't use them if they were crap.
I didnt like them at all. I never fished one just looked and felt a couple

I have about 10 GLoomis rods they are very good and the warranty is lifetime.![]()

I think the OP is talking about the TFO (tackle fork outfitters) with the gary loomis name on them there not g loomis rods or anywhere near as nice.

They are more robust than a Loomis rod, much cheaper and yet cost the same to produce. They don't have a prepaid replacement program with them though.
I use a 6'6" MH for topwaters, it does well.
I just bought one this past weekend.....I was trying to decided between the TFO and a Ducket. My decision was made, because I could not get over that giant decal on the Ducket rod that said "Made in China." The TFO might be made in China also, but if it is I could not find a sticker anywhere on it.
