Thanks! A lot of hard work is going in to this and it is going slow, but I am making sure I do everything right the first time. Should be completely done by the end of the year.

    Re: (httrdd007)

All of this I had to do from my storage.....

I eleminanted all of the controls on the panel besides the light and the trolling motor. It had the control for an electric tm trim that is not needed anymore. I pulled the old 10 gauge out and replaced with the 6 gauge that I made up. I have to start looking for a better panel does anyone know where I can get one?

I set up my 2 new Everstart Maxx batteries for 24 volts and tried to run her. I didn't have power at first and could not find why it would not run. Little did I know there is a switch on the side of the foot control! After kicking my self in the azz I ran it and it was amazingly quiet compared to my Thruster.

I will get an after pic with the breaker setup and the jumpers.

Thankfully 2 of the old trolling motor bolt holes lined up so all I had to do is drill out 2 more. There was an access plate that I was actually able to get my hand in and hold the teflon nut and the in the stainless steel 3 inch x 1/4 inch bolt with ss washers without any trouble.

I cannot wait to see what I can do with this baby! My last tm only had 28lbs of thrust (Mercury Thruster Plus) and it was weak.

    Re: (bomberboat)

Thanks! The trailer looks like shi+ right now so I am guessing that is going to get done within the next couple of months. I am replacing the winch, stripping and sanding the trailer, painting, replacing the wheel stand and crank, and cleaning up the wheels and swap out the whitewalls side of the tires.

    Re: (biggfill)

Alright fells I am back in full swing. Have not done much and the boat sat covered for the winter. It is good weather and I have the time to start ripping up the carpet and getting an idea about how the floor is. The transom is going to be a pia for sure!

    Re: (DennisNY)

Ok I have been away a while, but the boat was still getting used as is. I am planning on moving the boat into my new garage soon to start the complete tear down. Should be a fun project!

Man its hard to stop fishing on this baby. Lol. I told myself for sure the teardown is stating. I really need to do it, because the seats are all rotted out and the floor is soft in spots. Btw this little 65lb trolling motor is getting sold. Aiming for a 101lber!

Carpet was not cooperating since the boat has been through some rough times so it came up in pieces. Where is the best place to get carpet in pretty good sizes. Looking for full pieces to cut. i have to take some brown paper and make a template to get the cuts right. Floor is great, but lower floor is very soft. Wood is getting replaced in that section. Kid is psyced to get this looking nice. This has been a project put off for while. I will include pics soon.

Lots of places on the net to buy. Lots of guys on here like the basscat carpet. It's heavy grade and decently priced.

If you are still looking a panel might want to give this a try " viking panels". I have no clue about their work but another site gave good reviews. I am working with them now about some ranger panels for my rebuild.
