So how many tourneys has the A-Rig won so far?

I got to thinking the other day..just how many tournaments the Alabama Rig has won since it's debut last October. When I started adding them up it was pretty shocking really. I'm not talking about club level, jackpot tourneys, etc. I have no doubt that list would be endless. I'm just looking at FLW events, BASS events and PAA events. (Yes I know, BASS banned the Rig from the Elites, but it can still be used in any of the Opens or Weekend Series)

So please add to this list if there are others. It will be interesting to see what happens as the year progresses. I'm not trying to condemn or condone the rig, but you can draw your own conclusions. Here's what I have so far:

    1. BFL Regional - Lake Wheeler (October)
    2. FLW Tour Open - Lake Guntersville (October)
    3. BFL Wild Card - Lake Barkley (November)
    4. FLW Everstart Championship - Kentucky Lake (October)
    5. FLW Everstart - Lake Shasta (January)
    6. BFL Choo Choo Division - Lake Guntersville (February)
    7. BFL Bama Division - Lake Guntersville (February)
    8. BASS Weekend Series - Lake Guntersville (February)

Every jackpot on Grand Lake for the last 3 months. It is amazing how many 20+ lb sacks that has been caught on them this winter.

One of our local makers is giving $100 to the winner of a tournament if they used his rig to catch their fish.
During that interview, What would you say?

Versions of the a-rig are winning tournaments around here, but, all-in-all...about the same weights as previous years (or less weights).
AND, It's the same bunch of guys that were winning in previous years.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

How about a list of the tourneys NOT won on the A-rig (MUCH MUCH longer list).

Its won most every tourney in Alabama or been influenced by them since Nov. Main reason why is BC the winter has been spotty with no real long term bad weather, which will mostly put them on the bottom most times. Wait untill the shad spawn, it will get stupid

If you're talking about FLW events, you'd be wrong.

Is it a fair analysis if the A-rig is all that anyone is using though?! I was on Guntersville this past Sat when the BFL and BWS was going on, and honestly I did not see a single boat that was not throwing the A-rig. I felt kind of stupid the times I was using a rattlebait or jig!

That only makes yourself look stupid. Unless you've got some kind of sponsor, most people have nothing to gain from claiming they won a tournament on the rig when they didn't.

The list I provided either came from post tournament interviews, on the water photos and video. So yes, I realize people can lie about what they used. Keep in mind in BFL and BWS events there are co-anglers in the boat as well. So there are no secrets like in a buddy tournament.

Anyone who has been on Guntersville, or a similar lake, in the past few weeks has seen the madness, and has no reason to doubt when the past few winners claim they were using an Alabama Rig.

aren't y'all the same people that practically ran off the original makers of the rig when they posted about it last summer?
