    03 ranger 519 recessed trolling tray

    My buddy is about to install one on his ranger. Is there anything that I should know about before cutting it open? I was thinking the ranger's have something in the way on the 519 that has to be moved?

    You better post this in the Ranger Boats forum. I never had any problems, although the foam was a pia.

    You will end up cutting into the very front wall of the center storage box. Not a big deal, just don't remove more than you have to and seal everything up really good once the tray is installed. There will also be a lot of foam to remove-I assume you already know that!

    i did mine in a 2000 r91 turned out great used a cutting wheel on a drill to remove the foam made a template out of cardboard to get the depth rite used a ez troll box then went back and sprayed a small amount of non expanding foam to snug it up real nice
