Re: need some input on storage sheds - resin or platic ?? (TNT)

one thing i recommend if you go with the wooden kit is to scrap the nails that come with it and use a framing nailer and good nails. it makes it go a lot quicker. i think it came with like 1400 nails. if your not used to swinging a hammer everyday, it can be rough.

i did 90% of mine by myself. i did have a buddy come over and help put the walls up. i assembled them on the ground and had him help getting them in position so i could nail them up.

+1....stay out of the hot tub for a day and get building yourself a shed.

Friends of ours put up one of the snap together resin sheds...( 6 years ago???? about)
it seems to have held up physically. It is a color faded tho. It looks kind of ragged even tho it is seems physically fine.

Are they that much cheaper than a similar size wood kit?
They are more than a metal kit right?

I had one of these rubbermaids

Not sure how your house is set up but at my old house I tucked this one on the side of the house between the fence and the house. It is low profile and the cool thing is the lid slides back so you don't have to crawl inside. It does not stick up above the fence so noone really knows it was back there and I didn't have to get homeowners approval.

I did build a platform to set it on top of and just laid bags of create and some rocks in there.

It was 5 years old when I moved and left it in the backyard for the new owners. I didn't pay $600 for it though. I think it was like $300 at HD or Lowes.
