I had the opportunity last year to watch Aussie Rules Football for the first time. I was immediately hooked and watched every game that ESPN played. Just wondering if any of you Aussies are fans and which teams you follow.

I have to admit, it is a fun sport to watch. I guess I'm probably partial to Collingwood because it seemed like every other game they showed was one of theirs. Collingwood v Carlton was really good... You could feel the hate from 6000 miles away!

If you have ever seen the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras they hold in Sydney each year, you have seen a gathering of Collingwood supporters.

Sadly, the game of Australian Rules Football has changed dramatically over the years to the point where it is now only played and supported by nancy boys. They seem to be trying to get away from any physical contact and in the process they are making the game about as macho as ladies netball or soccer.

Rugby League is a game played and watched by real men in Australia! Watch a state of origin match. Search You Tube for "state of origin fights" and see what real men can do with a real game.

Please don't ask me questions regarding girlie boy football again. It makes me feel dirty, like Hunt hit me.

So it sounds like they're doing to the AFL what they're doing to the NFL here. The sissification of our sport has gotten to crazy levels! No hard hits or you get a huge fine... it's BS.

I'll never look at a Collingwood game the same way, Dale!! That is funny right there!

Look how we raise our kids these days. As soon as they are born we slap helmets on 'em, spray 'em with anti bacterial solvent every 4 minutes and rush them to the emergency room when they sneeze.

In another 50 years there will be no contact sports at all
