    Detroit Redwings

Broke the NHL record last night for Home winning streaks...21 straight wins...

Hoping my Predators end the streak Friday. Congrats to the Wings. Helluva team.

I've been a Wings fan since Gordie Howe gave me an autographed stick some 45 years ago and but this streak included an OT win and 3 SO wins. An impressive streak to be sure but not nearly as impressive as the '75-76 Flyers 20 game streak where there was no OT or SO.

It is what it is. The Flyers competition included some pretty sorry teams, some very new, some no longer exist. The old Bruins only played a 44 game season. How do those compare?

Indeed it is. The Wings have played a few dogs and gross underacheivers in this run as well. And one of the teams might not exist next year. But it is an impressive streak, especially for a team that has a brutal travel schedule year in and year out.
