The IRS's system is a mess. They call it "technology improvements" or what you and I call a new system with alot of bugs implemented by the lowest bidder. You're not going to get your money as quickly as you have been in the past. Apparently, alot of refunds are not being processed timely, including mine. A call to the IRS results in 30 minutes of your life being wasted if you call because they don't have a clue. Link below to IRS notice:

Our tax lady said it would be deposited between Feb. 8-15 my wife said it went into our account on the 11th.

I got my refund last Wednesday and sent it in on Thursday the 2nd.

I think e-files are on time, it's just the "where's my refund" system on line that is messed up.

Got mine on the 8th. First time in 8 years that I've gotten a refund.
You let them have your money for 390 days, and now you worry about getting your refund a couple of days later than you thought?

You're right about that, I used to think getting a refund was awesome.... I'd rather have that money for the 390 days to invest rather than letting the government do what they want with it. I'd now rather break even or have to pay.

They are waiting for the big tag sale so they have the cash to pay everyone back.
they sent an email saying mine would be late but oddly enough it came 3-4 days early
