Skeeter ZX202c Back in the game

Well fellas, I have to say, this website has given me so much valuable information. With the mountian of information provided here, along with some helpful friends, I have almost completed my project.
I'll take you back to November, when i picked up this boat. I knew the boat needed work, and was willing to take the challenge. When I brought her home this was what she looked like; not bad from far, but a heavy oxidation.

While everything was stripped from the boat, I began making some upgrades.
I installed a new radio and speakers along with wired remotes on the bow and console.

This past week a buddy gave me a hand/class on carpeting, we knocked out the front and back decks. We also cut and installed a recessed pedal tray.
Other completed add-ons include: 101 fortrex, new bildge pumps, new areator pumps, new batteries, and On board charger with top cap plug in.
Hopefully this weekend i will have the floor carpeted, and installing new humminbirds, it's time to fish!

Here is what she's starting to look like.

Im about to buy this same model boat and this coming winter id like to redo the carpert and a few other things. What carpet did you use and how much of it did you need to redo it? are you also replacing the latches?

Knight21X, I used the basscat carpet that everyone here has recommended. I bought 26 foot of carpet and that was plenty.
I did buy perko latches. The latches were 1/8 of an inch larger than the old latches. we used a boreing bit the increase the diameter of the hole.
I should have some updated pictures by next week.

Looks great. Are you going to carpet the floor? I'd like to see pics of that if you have any. I'm curious if you're going to run a few inches up the interior walls or how you're going to approach that.

Kent7351, we will be carpeting the floor this weekend. We do have to come up several inches on the interior walls. The reason it has not been done yet is because we believe it will be a huge pain. haha. I'm pretty sure we will have to drink a few brews to increase patience and decrease give a shoot.
