His daughter does a lot more all ready then mine every did.
I posted on the other thread made about this video. First off, I salute dad for his handling of it. Obviously it has gotten to the point where he felt this was the appropriate action to be taken with his daughter.
For those of you that think the kid "is messed up". Not one of us knows this family or the child. What I can say is that I have seen and dealt with children of good parents who are provided for in every way imaginable and then some, and yet these kids still think they are owed something more.
If I were a betting man, I would bet that this father is not the problem here. I am guessing that this sassy, fould mouth, disrespectful child is in with a group of kids that believes they are owed more than the clothes on their backs, the food in their bellies and the roof over their heads.
Listen to what the father say's. "I provide for you, I only ask a few simple chores of you". Listen to what he say's when he references the "cleaning lady" from his daughters post on FB. This is a child that does not believe or adhere to respecting others.
We need more parents like this guy in the world!![]()
And dam straight that was one fine group even if it was at close range!![]()

I see no humor in it at all. No wonder the kid is messed up if that is how she has been raised. He better hide the .45 cause she probably knows how to use it also. Got news for him, he didn't just lose the kid, he lost her at about the age of 3.</td></tr></table>
You guys that keep posting stuff like this are living in a fantasy land if you don't think MOST teens are like this today.
Anyone playing high and mighty in this thread-if you have teens, they are probably doing the same thing to/about YOU.
I laughed the hardest when he said, "So this one's from your mother..." *BANG* And if I've got one more....*BANG* Oh, I've got two more *BANG*."![]()
Like some others have said none of us know exactly whatÂs going on in that house. It does sound like the Dad gives her a lot of responsibilities, but thatÂs a good thing, whether his daughter realizes that right now or not. Yeah, if she is made to Âserve them coffee, that sounds like itÂs a little bit much. But if she already has the coffee pot in her hand, or is just standing around in the kitchen, I see nothing wrong with asking her to poor a cup for whoever wants some. IÂve seen some snotty mid-teen girls who roll their eyes and pitch a fit about being asked to do things that simply demonstrate some common courtesy. But again, none of us know the whole story. We really shouldnÂt judge too much.
Obviously the computer has caused problems before because he stated she was grounded for 3 months previously over something similar. I think destroying the laptop is great. If he just took her privileges away for a month or so, sheÂd be begging for it back all the time. Once itÂs destroyed, itÂs done. No more facebook for her until she pays for a laptop herself.
Whether it was over the top or not, at least he did something! He didnÂt sit back and let his kid run rough shot over him.
I feel bad for the guy and his daughter. ItÂs a crappy situation for everyone involved.
Poor kid, boo hoo! and you wonder why we have a generation of people who have the entitlement mentality. When we were kids we were taught right from wrong, we had to work for what we want, and there was no whining about it,or you got something to whine about,Those of you that think it was over the line are the one's contributing to the pussyfication of the next generation.let's not strive to be better, let's give everyone a trophy even if they put no effort in become better.

this dad is smart. The video was well planned. He told his taugher he was posting the vid on her facebook and said she may never see this video. He then proceeds to destroy her computer. That was very clever and makes me wonder if this is a hoax. Some people make a lot of money of youtube.
first how do you make allot of money on youtube.
2nd, not a hoax. A couple times you could tell he was beside himself enough to get tongue tied.
3rd why do some people say that EVERYTHING on the internet is fake?
The rough water comes to mind. We were seeing video's like that LONG before the internet, or for that matter much in the way of computers were even around.
hell yeah congrats to the dad![]()

You must be REALLY naive to the shit CPS deals with to think this warrants ANY of their time.
I think kids learn much more from the examples set by their parents, than they do from being told what to do.
my kind of guy, if my youngest was here and saw that she would say"he's just like you". She is doing great, 23 years old, youngest sales manager in her company, knocking down $50,000+ per year. Got her when she was 2 years old and no, i'am not her father, I am her dad.
the only difference between my dad and this guy would be the azz kicking that would have come first and THEN the lecture.
Thank you Mom & Dad
it's amazing how smart my mom and dad got when I was getting older from age 18 to 40

by the hits a video it receives
I've never been skydiving, but I have zoomed-in on Google Earth really fast.
Wow, I wonder where his daughter gets the attitude from. To much talk and not enough follow through.
