    throttle adjustments

    Hey all,

I have a 115 etec hooked up to an older omc binnacle control. Motor runs great. Is there a way to adjust the throttle cable so that it will actually increase the engine speed with less throw? I put it in gear, and then have to continue pushing forward on the control quite a bit before I get an increase in speed. Same goes in reverse, and I don;t really have much of it. It takes almost all of the throw to get the engine rpms to raise moderately in reverse. Sometimes I wonder if I actually acheive wot (wide open throttle) at full throttle throw.

    Thanks,
    Jared

    Re: throttle adjustments (jbosch)

In reverse your control will take more movement to achieve throttle response.
