One of the owners here just got back from a weeks cruise around the Bahamas. On the second morning he and his wife noticed a weird funky odor so they called housekeeping. Within a few minutes a staff member arrived and vacuumed, sprayed, shampooed, etc. every surface in the room. The staff member apologized profusely and left them with a clean cabin. Later that day they noticed the smell had returned, they had plans to visit a port and forgot to call housekeeping. On Thursday, the smell was horrible....wife calls housekeeping and little man came back with his supervisor. The dude was embarrassed, his supervisor told him to clean thoroughly one more time. Late that night when Tom and his wife returned to the cabin, wifey opens the closet door and WHAMMO! The vomity smell was HIS SHOES!!!!! He got them wet at the ramp and the filler material smells like rotting vomit
