    Lake Malone, KY fish

Went down to Lake Malone today. Didn't catch a boat load but had 4 keepers. Did have about 17lbs though. I don't mind catching only 4 fish if the biggest three are like these.

Lake Malone is really a beautiful lake, even in the middle of winter.

It's on the western side of the state. It's on the boarder of Muhlenberg and Logan counties.

If you keep posting these nice photos of it, I may have to try it out as I have never been on it....I've passed the signs for it on the way to Ky Lake for many many years now

I have caught some of my biggest fish on Malone. It does fish different than most lakes though.

That's no joke. It is a really weird lake. My personal best came out of there a few years ago, 9.51 lbs. The next week, a friend of mine caught one over 10. I've seen 6.5 lb fish not get a check in a one fish 3 hour Tuesday nighter that paid back 5 places. But I also fished a tournament there last year that only 4 fish were weighed in, TOTAL!!!
