    So rank this Superbowl...

Kudos to my Giants for another great victory to wrap up an incredible comeback season!

Congratulations to the New England Patriots for a great effort.

I personally think that this has to be considered one of the best Superbowl games ever. Back and forth. Great defense by both teams. Big plays made when they needed to be made. Great coaching calls made by both Coughlin and Bellichick as well as their support staff. A good, clean game. Looking at the run the Giants made to get into the playoffs and then to win the way they did in the playoffs, and then to finish it off with a 4th Superbowl! Wow! What a way to end the season!

It was an ok game to watch.Neither offense played very well really and overall the giants didn't do much scoring considering their time of posession. As much as they had the ball in the first half and with all their first downs they still only had 1 td.The pats weren't sharp on offense either and the drop by welker with 4 minutes left was a prime example.

The game was one of the most boring i've seen in a long time like I said in the Pats thread. Neither defense played great, both offenses were dismal until the final drive by the Giants. Good job to the Giants but man that game was hard to watch.

Mediocre at best. Too many penalties, dropped passes, missing open receivers by Brady, fumbles. The entire key to the game was an off side penalty on the Pat's linebacker on the Giants last drive that ended up going from a punting situation to then third and 2 which the Giants converted and then marched on down the field to close the game out. It was clear however who the best QB was in this game, Eli owned Brady! At crunch time Brady missed wide open receivers and couldn't get it done, where Manning consistently hit covered wide receivers, even if they were double teamed he dropped those passes in the tightest window.

It turned out as I thought it would. Giants by a few points just like their past few games have ended. It didn't have the excitement of some other Superbowls I've watched. I'm a Bills fan so I hate both those teams anyway

I think it sucked.......I didn't win any money on our office's super bowl squares sheet. That safety really screwed me!

As a Giants fan, I thought it was an okay game. A good bit of back and forth while both teams showed greatness and dissapointment. I will say that the last hail mary in the end zone made me hold my breath. Finally, good game and I can't wait to rub it in with some Pats fans at work.

I don't know about the game but... the wife and I watched Mama Mia and then ET and in- between them had baked boneless chops in gravy along with mashed taters and green beans with homemade rolls with garlic and butter on them.Topped off with several cold glasses of milk...Gonna have the leftovers today for lunch.

I was hoping the Giants would win but I don't care much about watching fooseball anymore. Over hyped like everything else is in this world.

my short reply says this: the game wasn't amazing. There's all this hype before the game, and quiet frankly it felt like a preseason game to me. There WERE some great plays, but all in all it didn't seem like they (either team) was playing for the ring. JMO

I thought it was a good game. Is was very defensive which usually is boring. I think for Brady, the big mistake was the interception. I wondered why he didn't run it when he was forced out of the pocket.
Anyway, congrats to the Giants defense who WON that game and as a group should be the MVP. Neither Brady nor Manning had MVP stats. Pierre-Paul had two knockdown passes that were key and pressured Brady.

Re: So rank this Superbowl... (joebw)

I say this, you didn't have the wide open, high scoring game because both defenses played very well. That to me is where football games are won and lost. I'm not into watching an offense light up the other teams. I like watching the game being won in the trenches and on a teams ability to overcome. The Giants were able to overcome when they had to. The Patriots very nearly were able to overcome with less than a minute left. Turnovers were at a minimum. Penalties were few. I really think when you break the game down that we watched last night that it ranks as one of the better played games by both teams. The whole game was close right to the very end.

I think both teams deserve a great deal of credit.
