Browning 6footer,small but used it for years.Abu Revo spooled with 10lb P line mono. I also will walk a Spook or Sammy with this set up. Have used 10lb floro and than switched to Mono after Jerkbait season.

Haven't thrown them a lot, but this was the set-up I used a bit towards the end of the year last year & will probably do it again. Might also try using my Fenwick ET Smallmouth 6'9" MF rod at some point as well.

This setup has been flawless for me. Also use for topwater prop baits: Devils Horse, Prop Bee, etc.
Can't recall losing a fish on a jerkbait since switching to that rod. Glad I have two of them.

I prefer shorter rods for jerk baits and I just picked up a new St. Croix Avid 6'2" M/XF. TDA HSTA 153 w/10lb XT. Probably the best balanced factory rod I've bought yet and the power/action is right where I want to be for jerk baits.
