I've met Mike McClelland and Scott Martin, You would think they knew ya from way back....super nice guys that REALLY try to teach or show ya something. Scott, gave me tips that I could use at home on my home lakes, and I've caught more fish this year than ever..not to mention a new PB fishing with him!!

I used to talk to him a lot. He dated a girl that worked with me. He was a great guy back then, I doubt he's changed.

Obviously, there really are a lot of great guys in the sport of bass fishing as so many have been named above. Don't forget Joe Thomas. I was at a tournament at Erie, he didn't know me from anyone and talked to me for 10 minutes as we were waiting for pre-tournament instruction , and when someone motioned him over he apoligized for ending the conversation.

Marshalled the "River Rumble" on pool 19 a couple years ago. Drew Bobby Lane, Mike McClelland, and Brian Snowden. All GREAT guys. Had a terrific time. Also had the opportunity to listen to "shop talk" while we sat in the locks. It was.... "interesting" to hear some of the things that were said about other anglers . These three guys didn't have anything negative to say about anyone but some of the other pros had some interesting comments about their fellow competitors

Chris is a total @$$ to his Co anglers. The day I meet one that likes him I will put my cane down to shake their hands. Thats just the beginning. He flies the American flag like he is an uber ra ra go USA boy, when I know for a fact he has had 2 active duty service members in his boat and couldnt have given less of a crap.

Hank Parker. I met hank at the FLW Cup last year and he was by far the most down to earth friendliest guy at the ramp. I helped out with the Wounded warriors tourney and stayed around to watch the Juniors tournament weigh in. Hank came up and sat beside me we talked about how cool it is to have the junior championship with the FLW cup. Heck I didn't even realize who sat down beside me until he started talking to me.
