Anyone know a site where I can have a gun safe shipped for a reasonable cost? The safe I want isnt really a safe, more like a cabinet, so it doesnt weigh that much. The safe is $200, and nobody seems to ship it for less than $100.

Its not just weight that determines the shipping cost, its bulk, space it takes up on the truck. What size packed?

Have you taken a look at Dick's sporting goods in Augusta? If they've got what you need I'm sure we can get it to your place, I've got a pickup and a trailer.
Patriot Safes ships for free, but you wont find a real safe for $200. Do a google search and you will find them.

Dixie, I dont think hauling it is going to be a problem with a Duramax. I'll have to check down to Augusta, but the Bangor store didnt have what I wanted. If your heading down there anytime, let me know and I'll send you the link at what I want.
