Should I oversize 1 to.30 or all 6. I have one bad cyl.

I would check the rest and make sure they are not egg shaped.... if it was mine, I would do them all for peace of mind and then you know it is right....![]()
what would cause them to be egged shaped?
Piston and ring wear on the bottom of the cylinder.
Your choice on this one but I'd tear it down and bring the block to a good machine shop. Have them check it out, and have them give you a written report on the condition of the block. Make your decision on the report if no damage to the sleeves and a bore job is fine you can go to .030 oversize per cylinder if they are that messed up and can't go .030 over then re-sleeve the block or cylinders and get STD size pistons to install. You won't gain any compression (over specs) by boring out only sealing the cylinder. A .030 oversize piston set cost about the same as a STD piston set but either way you go you will have to order a needle bearing set per each cylinder you replace the piston in. They are not included in the piston set. Only piston, rings, circlips and wrist pin.
