    Replacing the dashboard lights in a my truck...

    I have a F-150 98', how do I go about doing this, does anyone know where I can find pics step by step to replace them..

    You tube or google it and see what you come up with. Some of them pop out nad some require major teardown to replace.

    I have a Chilton book at home that may have the steps. I've found Chilton to be only semi-reliable, though. I won't be home until Monday, but if you don't find anything by then, let me know.

    Just had mine in my 98 f150 replaced by a family member who is a ford mechanic, alot of screws to remove but overall not all that complicated . You should be able to youtube it or find it somewhere on the net.

    I did this in a '94 F150 many years ago. I bought two packages of bulbs, if I remember correctly, and still did not have enough bulbs to replace all the ones that were burnt out. Seems like the bulbs came 8 to a pack. They were not expensive. May want to purchase more than you think necessary. Not too bad to get apart, from memory.

    if they're burnt out in your instrument cluster, you'll need to brush up on your soldering skills.
